Occasionally, you may need to change the alternator of the Audi TT because it has worn out or the parts have gone bad. The Audi TT engine sits in the engine compartment sideways, with the alternator located near the front of the vehicle on the passenger side. The alternator belt runs from the alternator to the crankshaft. Changing the alternator is fairly straightforward and requires just a few tools. You should be able to do the job in about an hour.
